​I’m Thomas V. Papa, a corporate reporting professional and author of corporate thrillers.

For the past 18 years, my work has focused on corporate reporting standards. Before that, I worked as an investment analyst, management consultant, and auditor. experiences that gave me a close view of how decisions are made, how pressure builds, and how personalities shape what happens inside the boardroom.

I brought that perspective into Black and White Smoke.

The story may be fiction, but the ambition, negotiation, rivalry, uncertainty, and power dynamics behind it are grounded in a world I understand well.
