I love the way light-hearted humour is juxtaposed with threatening situations. I really enjoyed the board room conversations and the subtle behaviours that behind the scenes were examined in the protagonist’s mind. There were times that I would become lost in thought at a behaviour observed by the protagonist and empathise with how he handled it!!
I truly enjoyed reading it, and it strongly reminded me of Succession. I was impressed by the action scenes and the structure with a clear
beginning-middle-finale.
The storytelling is amazing. It kept me reading increasingly as the
suspense was very high.
